REPRESENTATIVE GAMES.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR TO-.MORROW
The principal attraction for followers of Rugby at the local domain tomorrow is the la.st game in the first round of the Frank Poland Memorial Cup competition between Paeroa and Piako teams. Mr N. Emmett (Waihi) has been selected to referee the match. Judging by the play of Pia,ko against Waihi last Saturday, the local team should win. The match, which is scheduled to commence at 3 p.m., will be played on the; No. 1 ground. As a, curtain-raiser the first match in the Thames Valley Primary Schools’ Association's competition for the W. Fleming Shield' will be played, the Waihi school team (holders) meeting a Paeroa school fifteen. This match is timed to commence; at 1.45 p.m., and will be controlled. by Mr E. smith. The following is the Paeroa team :— Bennett, Coxhead, Hr Robinson, G. Robinson, D. Welch, W. Welch, G. Morrison, and A. Alley, Hikutaia school ; Bardsley, Curtis. Fulton, and R. Campbell, Paeroa ; W. Smith and C. Manders, Karangahakc ; J. Craig, Netho,rton. Emergencies : T. Corbett, J. Fraser, C. Callagher, J. Chamberlain. The Sharebrokers’ Cup competition will also be continued, the Paeroa junior representatives meeting Piako at Te Aroha. MATCHES ON PLAINS. Several elia.nge.si will be necessary in the Hauraki Plains team to play Waihi at Ngatea to-morrow. Clotworthy, Costello, and Hedley have intimated that they will not' be; available. and L. Killgour may not be back from holidays. By mistake R. Fisher, of Ker.epeehi, wa,s mentioned as being in the team instead of A. Fishen, of Turua. In, addition to the Waihi v. Plains Poland Cup match at Ngatea to-mor-row, arrangements have been made for curtain-raiser games tn be played between Hauraki Plains and Paeroa thlii'd-grade teams and between Kerepeehi and Ngatea school teams.

In the primary schools’ Rug,by competition at Waihi on Wednesday Convent defeated Central by 73 points to 0. South beat East by 29 to 0. In six games Convent has, scored 205 paints, with three aga'nst them. This is belie veil to be a. Dominion record.
