At the Hamilton weekly stock sale on Tuesday last we had a full yarding, of fat cattle, and values were on a par with those reached the previous week. Good quality medium-weight prime fat steers'brought from £l3 5s to £l4 6s, lighter £ll 17s 6d to £l2 10s, unfinfinished light weights £lO 10s, unfinished and plain £7 17s 6d to £8 10s ; medium weight prime young cows and

heifers £8 to £8 155,• lighter £7 to £7 17s 6d ; plain fat £5 15s to £6 15s, -unfinished £4 to £1 10s; boner, cows £3 5s to £4, good vealers and runners £3 5s to £3 19s ; 2 to 2 %-year steers £5 6s to £6 10s; s,tore cows £3 2s 6d to £3 12s 6d, smaller frames £2 2s 6d to £2 10's ; 18-months empty Shorthorn heifers £2 10s to £2 12s ; best dairy cows, early calvers, £lllss to £l2 10s, fair, sorts £9 to £lO ; inferior cows and heifers £5 to £6 10s ; yearling Jersey heifers £3 los to £4 4s There was" an average yarding of fat, sheep, the quality ,px>t being up to tlie usua,l standard, and prices were easier. All classes of stores also showed a decline. Medium fat weathers 35s 6d to 37s 6d, fair fat ewes 28s to 28s 6d, fat hoggets 24s 6d to 26s 6d, 4 and 6-tooth store* wethers 32s 6d, 2-tooth store wethers 28s .to 29s G<l ; 2,4, and 6-toptJi, and F.M. ewes in lamb to Romney Rams, 30s. A moderate yarding of fat and store pigs was submitted. Baconerg eased in values, fat porkers and all clashes of stores slightly firmer. Medium to heavy ba,eoners £3 10s to £3 17s, good porkers and light, baconers £2 18s to £3 6s, medium porkers 30s to 355. stords, 25s to'27s ; good slips to small porkers 15s tp 225, weaners 8s 6d to 12s, small 3s Cd to ss.
