AURORA THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT AND TO-MORROW NIGHT FAUST. Countless; are the number of legends .and traditions woven around t'he mysterious personality of the great scientist and physician of the medieval ages, Dr. Faustus. Numerous writers have grappled with this wonderful theme. Milton has dealt w<i th it in his “Paradise Lost-” Goethe based on it an immortal drama which, like the Shakespearian dramas, has become the common property of the entire world. Gounod, the great Fre,nch composer, interpreted the great gospel of sin and salvation by means, of his enchanting and beautiful music—and yet the legend of “Faust,” which is to be screened tonight and to-morrow night, is as bewitching to-day as it was centuries ago.
