Mr Cyril R. G. Bassett. V.C.. Auckland. has been appointed manager of the Paeroa branch of the National Bank of New Zealand. Ltd., vice Mr C. D. P. Topliss. who has been transferred to tiie genera] manager’s office, Wellington. Mr A. C. C. Hunter has been acting-manager at Paeroa during the last. 12 months. Mr and Mrs C. R. Hudson, of Kerepcchi, who are leaving next week to take up farming in the Cambridge district. were tlie guests at a fare-well function in the Kerepechi Hall last Wednesday evening, Mr has been a clerk in the Kcrepeehi office of the Lands Department for the last eight years. The presentation, of a clock from the people of the district was. made by Mr E. Taylor, lands, drainage engnieer.
