MEN’S MATCH AT PAEROA-

In order that the representatives of the Hauraki Plains. Thames.. men’s hockey team shall have an- opportunity to try itself out before going to Auckland to take part in the Country Week hockey tournament, a match has been arranged to be played at Paeroa to-morrow afternoon with a Piako representative team. The game, which commences at 2.45, should prove to be very interesting, as. the players taking part are- all highly skilled exponents'of hockey. The Piako Association’s competition’ games will be continued to-morrow,-when the Paeroa;. ladies’ A team plays' Te Aroha at Te Aroha, Following isthe local team :— Misses P. Treanor, N. Finnic, E. Bell, G. Finnie, B. Gibb, A. O’Neill, Jt Hartley, P. Pivott, V. Shand, E. Brown, C. Swann. Emergency: Miss D. Wilson. Bus will leaye post office at' 1.30 p.m. sharp.
