HAURAKI PLAINS LADIES. MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. The Hauraki Plains Ladies’ Hockey Association met at Ngatea on Mojiday evening, Mr 0. W. Harris presiding over Messrs J. H. Njcholson, H. Blyt-h, T. Elliott, K. Clare, the Rev. R. CWexander, and Mr. M. Canning, secretary. TRIP TO AUCKLAND. The following players were selected to represent the association i.n. the Country Week tournament Misses R. Harris, M. Miller, N. Peters, M. Harwood, S. Hudson, M. _ Harris, M. Beaver, A.Candy, D. W.ade, F. Berney, Mrs Greathead, Misses ECandy, N. Fisher, B. Benny, Mrs Hira. Emergencies : Misses L. Aberhart. E. McPherson, M. Nicholson, C. Hegh. The Aucklkand Association forwarded details of the tournament, which will be held from July 2 to 7 at the Market Road grounds, Remuera. It wa's delided to accept the tender of the Y.W.C.A. for the accommodation of twenty players for nine days at 22s 6d, the luncheon arrangements to be left to the tea,m manager. Mrs Hands, Kerepeehi, was appointed team chaperone, (Mr C. W. Harris manager, and the Rev. R. 0. Alex' ander. coach and selector. The president and secretary were authorised to deal with the tenders for transportation. The question of playing the Mt. r Eden team, as in previous years, was deferred 7 for consideration until the team was in Auckland. It was decided thht the team would leave on Saturday morning .and return oni Sunday, July 8, at 11.30 a.m. MATCH WITH THAMES. To enable the touring team to get practice a ma,tch was arranged with the Thames Association at Thames on Saturday next. Players were to make their own arrangements for transport. MATCH WITH WAIHI. On Saturday next a B team will play at Wafhi. Each team will supply two players, who will be expected to pa} 3s for their fares on Mr Nicholson’s K" bus . .
