e STAR OF PAEROA LODGE. INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS. On Saturday evening la,st the District President, Bro. H. Gallagher, paid an official visit to the Star of Paeroa Lodge for the purpose of installing the officers elect for the insuing half-year. Visitors were present from the Dominion (Thames) and Pride of Wajhi lodges. P.A. Bro. F. Raddings, of Waihi, introduced the new officers to the! district president, and. each one was duly invested with his collar of office io tne acccmpanimei.t of the old-time ritual of the Order. Four new members were initiated into the rites of 1 Druidism. The following new officers were installed : A.D., Bro. W. Gerrand; J.P.A.. Bro. E. V. Slyfield ; secretary, Bro. J. T. Brown; treasurer, Bro. E. V. Slyfield ; V.A.. Bro. J. G. Wright; A.D. Bards. Sister A. Pennell and Bro. FA Wood ; V.A. Bards, Bros. Trotter; minute secretary, Bro. W. Sanderson. Bro. D. Young was elected Lodge auditor. and Bro. F. E. Flatt was nominated as G-L. auditor. Tlie lodge business was followed by a social gathering, the success of. which was largely due to tlie work and enthusiasm of tec sisters of the lodge. Music, song, and story helped to pass a pleasant hour away, the artistic singing of Bro. AV. W. Rowe’s being a special feature.
