HAURAKI PLAINS GROUPS. RETURNS FOR MONTH OF APRIL. The following returns from the Haurakl Plains groups for the month of April, have been supplied by the N.Z. Co-opcra.t've Herd Testing Association, Hamilton :— Nethcrton Group.— The highest ■herd, with 53 cows, averaged 22.291 b fat. and the lowest herd, with 39 cows averaged ,10.461 b fat. Tire 'highest cow in the group produced 40.361 b fat, and the lowest cow 2.341 b. Ngatea Group.—The highest herd, with 78 cotvs, averaged 21.481 b fat, and the lowest herd, with 49 cows, averaged 8.991 b fat. The highest cow in the group produced 40.361 b fat and the lowest cow 2.161 b. Patetonga Group.— The highest herd, with 27 cows, averaged 23.221 b of fat, and the lowest herd, with 22 cows, averaged 7.721 b of fat. The highest cow in. the group produced 47.521 b fat and the lowest cow 2.881 b. Shelly Beach Group.—The highest herd, with 81 cows, averaged l 18.341 b fat, and the lowest herd, with 50' cows, averaged 11.801 b fat. The highest cow in the group produced 36.011 b fat and the lowest cow 2.701 b. Turua Group.—The highest herd, with 23 cbws, averaged 28.751 b fskb aind the lowest herd, with 67 cows, averaged 12.211 b fat. The highest cow in the group produced 41.311 b fat arid the lowest cow 2.401 b. Waitakaruru Group.—The highest herd, with '5l cows, averaged 23.131 b fat, and the lowest herd', with 27 cows, averaged 10.691 b fat.- The highest cow in the group produced 47.381 b fat and the lowest cow 2.881 b. The average for 52,188 cows tested in April was 3941 b milk, 4.0 test,a nd, 19.501 b fat. The foregoing records are for a full thirty-day period, and this season represents th© production of all cows in. milk.
