NETHERTON. MUSICAL SOCIETY’S DANCE. A very successful dance and progressive euchre tournament was held in the Netherton Hall on Wednesday cvenipg by the Netherton Musical Society. There was a large attendance, and as the- music was by the- Netherton. (Orchestra and Mr J. W. Welsh was at the head of affajrs, the function went .smoothly until early morning. The euchre tournament winners v.ere Mesdames J. KL Reid and JHarms and Messrs Evans apd A. Vowles. Other competitionss were held, the prizes and prize-winners being as follows: Pig, donated by Mr G. Nesbit, won by .Mr W. Richmond; ducks, donated by Mrs Scudamore, won by Mr T. G. Tregoweth ; cake, donated by Mr D. Leach, worn by Miss CawkweH.
