TO-MORROW’S ARRANGEMENTS.

LOCAL TEAMS SELECTED.

Arrangements have been, made for the two. Paeroa hockey teams to play to-morrow 1 . The A team will, play a Te Aroha. team at the local domain at 2 o’clock, and the B team will journey to Kerepeehi, the' bus leaving the post office at 1-45 p.m. Following are the te>ams :—■ A Team.—Misses P. Treaiw, W. Finnie, Mrs Copper, Misses. G. Finnie, E. Bell, B. Gibb, M. Hartley, P. Pivott, V. Shand, E. Brown, A. O’Neil.

B Team.—Misses P. Swift, D. Eppis, A. Wood, E. Hayward, E. Nield, F. Wilson, Q. Gibb, R. Swann, M. Epps, D. Wilson, E. Curtisj.

THAMES-HAURAKI DISTRICT.

MEN’S ASSOCIATION FORMED.

The newly formed hockey clubs of Ngatea, Kopuarahi, and Thames united to form a Thames-H.ajrraki Hockey Association at a meeting held at the Kopuarahi school on Wednesday evening. By a misunderstanding the Ngatea, club was not represented. ’

In conesidering the appointment of officers it Was agreed that the office of president should rotate around the affiliated clubs. It was decided to accept the offer made by the,Thames club of the eup donated by Mr, H. R. Crease to the now defunct Thames Hockey Association. Subject to the consent of Mr Crease, .the cup will become the trophy for the inter-club competition, to lie arranged among clubs affiliated to the ■newly formed association. The secretaries of the, three clubs were deputed to arrange the competition.

'Affiliation fees fixed at lOis 6d, plus a Competition entr.atn.ee fee of 10s 6d, and players will, be registered at a flat rate oif Is per, player. The association will affiliate with the Auckland Hockey Association, and will endeavour to register the following colours : Blue jersey, black monogram, black shbrts, and black stockings with blue tops.
