HAMILTON STOCK SALE.
The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:—
At the weekly stock market in the Frankton Yards on Tuesday we had a full yarding of principally cow and heifer beef, and the, demand for good quality prime cattle was equal to last week’s rates. Light fat steers made from £lO 2s. to £l2 2s, small, and young £8; good quality prime heavy cows £lO to £ll, medium weights £8 ,10s to £9 17s 6d, light and young fat cows and heifers £7 to £B, unfinished £4 15s to £5 15s, boners, £3 10s to £4 10s ; small, vealers sold' to 395, store cows £2 15s to £3 ss, culls £2 to £2 is, da’ry cows and heifers at profit £8 to £9. A small entry of mutton' was. offered and all. classes advanced in values. Fat wethers 35s 3d, extra good prime 2-tooth ewes 36‘s 2d, heavy prime 30s, medium prime yvoolly 26s Id. A full yarding of fat pigs came foirward, and competition was kee.n at last week’s, rates. Prime heavy baconers £4' 8s to £4 16s, medium weight baconers £3 l'ss to £4, light baconers £3 3s to £3 Bs, heavy porkers £2 10s to £2 15s, light porkers 30s. to 375, slips 13s to 16s, we. alters- 6s to 10s.
