HOCKEY.
LAST SATURDAY’S GAMES. RESULTS OF LADIES’ MATCHES. The Hauraki Plains Ladies’ Hockey Association continued its competition on Saturday in fine weather. At Kopuara.hi the “A” team had a good win from the, Turua team by eight goals: to nil. Goals were netted by Mrs T. O’Carroll (3), Miss D. Har,wopd (2), Miss A. Candy (2), and Miss E. Candy. Kerepeehi and Ngatea School drew at Ngatea, there being one goal ea.ch. ■Miss M. Nicholson and Miss, B. Hunter were the scorers. Waitakaruru proved much superior to the Kopuarahi B team, and won the game at Waitakaruru by 12 to 0. The goals were shot , by Misses A. Peters (3), F. Berney (3), T. Great.fiead (2), M. Beaver (2), B. Benny, and E. Wheeler. THE MEN. A game was played at Kopuarahi between the newly formed men’s teams, of Kopuarahi and Thames, and the result was a. win for the Plains team by 5 to 0. J. Miller (3), A. McMillan, and H. Kerb}- were the scorers.
