o NEiTHEHTON SETTLER ARRESTED. A REMAND GRANTED. At the Paeroa Police Court ye&tei-' day morning a well-known Netherton settler named John Horace James Johnson was arraigned on a charge of committing incest on December 29, 1927. Mr P. E. Brenan, J.P., wq,s on the Bench.

In applying for a remand Constable J. McCllnchy stated that there were other charges pending, and he applied for a substantial bail.

The Bench granted a remand until May 15, and accused was released o» three, sureties, himself for £5OO and two others of £250 each.
