Swann. Emergencies : Misses P. Swift, D. Wilson, and F. Wilson. Cars will leave the post office at 1.45 p/m. sharp. PLAINS MATCHES. . Ngatea School has a: bye. THE LADIES’ ASSOCIATIONMEETING AT NGATEA. The Hauraki plains Ladies’ Hockey Association met at Ngatea on Tuesday evening, .Mr C. W. Harris presid-i ing over Messrs R. C. Abel and M. Canning (High School), H. Kerby and J. Miller (Kopuarahi), K. Clare and B. Elliott (Ngaitea), J. H. Nicholson and J. Blyth (Kerepeehi), and the Rev. E. Alexander (Turua). SELECTOR. The Rev. E. Alexander was appointed to fill the place on the representative selection committee of Mr G. L. Griffiths., signed. Mr T. Field was appointed coach of the representative teams. FINANCING A TOUR. A long discussion ensued on meains of financing t'he trip of the representative! team to Auckland to take part in the Country Week tournament in July, and it was agreed that each club should arrange, an entertainment in its centre. NGATEA PLAYING FIELD. The secretary was instructed to write to the Ngatea Football Club seeking permission to utilise t/he for hockey the football field lately used by junior footballers. A committee, comprising Mi* Abel, the Rev; Alexander, and the secretary, was instructed to report on means of improving the area for representative games. A committee .was. also 'Set up to mark out the ground, etc. RESIDENTIAL QUALIFICATION It was decided that before a player could be regltesred she must have resided within the county, for; two weeks. TRANSFER. Miss B. Benny was granted a transfer, from the Ngatea club to the Wartakaruru club.
