Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in the following cases by Mr F. W. Platts, S.M., at the local Magistrate’s Court his morning : — Brenan and Co. v. J. Gribble, £1 Is 9d, costs 13s ; H. W. Beale v. Sam Hi'ra, £3O 3s ,10d ; Charles Rehm v. W. Fleming, £5 6s 5d ; W. Fleming and Son, Ltd., v. M. Swindles, £5 4s lid : E. Powell and Co. v. Hnimaera, £9 3s lid ; D. Loach v. T. Castles, £2 13s lOd ; E. E. Monds v. P. H. Smith, £9.

JUDGMENT SUMMONS.

• A Spencqr, Te Aroha Road, Paeroa, was ordered to pay Wells and Sons, butchens, Paeroa, the sum of £6 Ils 6d forthwith ; in default four days’ imprisonment in Thames Gaol, the w’arrant to be suspended so long as debtor paid the sum of £1 a month.
