BubUc Notice®. COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BORROW. loan of £5OOO over the Ngatea Riding Roads Loan Special Rating Area for the Construction of Roads therein as set out hereunder. P URSUANT to Section 10 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” the provisions of Section 8 of “The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926,” having been complied with, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN—1. That it is the intention of the Hauraki Plains County Council to borrow the sum of £5OOO for the construction of roads as set out hereunder (a) Rawe Rawe Canal Reserve Road (part) . (b) Orchard West Road (part) (c) Puhanga Canal Road West (d) Puhanga Canal Road East (e) Ngarua - Kaihere Road 1 (part) 2. That as security for the pay’ ment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on the said Loan, it is the intention of the said Council to make A.nd levy a Special Rate of One Penny (Id) in the £ on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the Ngatea Riding Roads Loan Special Rating Roads Loan Special Rating Area. 3. That it is not the intention k of the said Council to pay out of the Loan the costs of raising the Loan or the first year’s interest and sinking fund on the Loan. 4. That it is the intention of the said Council to establish a Sinking Fund of 3 per cent, per annum for the repayment of the Loan, or alternatively to repay the Loan by forty' (40) halfyearly equal instalments of interest and principal. 5. That the said Loan is for a period of twenty (20) years at a rate of interest not exceeding 6 per cent, per annum. The said Special Rating Area includes the whole of Ngatea Riding as at present constituted, with the exception of the following :— . (a) All land included within the boundaries of the Kaihere - Torehape Roads Loan Special Rating Area. (b) Sections 2, 10, 11, and 12, Block XVI, Piako. (c) Lot 1 of Section 5, Block VI, Waihou. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR QUAIKY PURPOSES. “VTOTICE is hereby given that Xi it is proposed under the’ provisions of “ The Public Works Act, 1908,” and its amendments, by the Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants of the County of Hauraki Plains (being a body corporate known as the Hauraki Plains County Council) to, undertake and execute a public work, namely a Quarry Reserve in Block Five of the Waitoa Survey District, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Hauraki Plains County Council at Ngatea, and isxopen for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
