The property is situated near Bowentown on the Katikati Harbour in the Bay of Plenty. It is lying towards the east, and is easy rolling country, all ploughable, most of it being in grass with the balance fern and grass. It is ring-fenced except on the sea frontage, and subdivided. Access is by a clay road to Bowentown off the main Waihi-Katikati road. The Mortgagee’s application containing her estimate of the value of the land can be seen at the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Auckland, during office hours prior to the sale, and a copy thereof may be seen at the place of auction on the day of the sale without payment of any fee. Plublle Notices. OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A MAGAZINE RESERVE. NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and its amendments, by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri (being a body corporate known, as the Ohinemun County Council) to undertake and execute a public work, namely, a Magazine Reserve in Block Thirteen of the Ohinemuri Survey District: and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the schedule hereto are required to be taken. Notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the Public Office of the Ohinemuri County Council, Normanby Road, Paeroa-, >,and are open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and must send the same within forty days from the seventh day of March, 1928, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the said County Council at the office of the Clerk thereof at Normanby Road, Paeroa, aforesaid.
