On Hriday last a. number of ladies accompanied the Taranaki bowlegs, to Paeroa, and they were very interested in the local Domain 'grounds particularly the plantations. Mr W. Hamilton, the caretaker, was sought, and he had the pleasure of explaining to them the names of the various trees and shrubs, many of which the visitors had not previously seen.
