ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
THAMES VALLEY ASSOCIATWxY. ANNUAL MEETING AT PAEROA. The annual meeting of the Thames Val'ley Asocisation Football ‘Association was held in Paeroa on- Wednesiday, when Mr D. Lewis (Waihou), president, occupied the chair. Delegates were present from Waihi, Te Aroiha, Waihou, and Kerepeehi. The annua] report, presented- and adopted, showed that three separate competitions, were played during the past year, and resulted in the Waihou team winning the South Auckland Championship and the Goldfidlds. Association’s Cup. The D.C.L. Cup was 1 won by Waihi.
The secretary reported the loss by fire of the Goldfields Cup. The latter had been replaced by (he Waihou Club.
The balance-sheet, which was also adopted, showed a small credit balance.
The following were elected officers for the ensuing year : Patron, M’r D. Rogers, Kereepehi; president, Mr D. Lewis, Waihou ; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. Callender, Kerepeehi ; committee, delegates from various clubs.
The opening day was fixed for April 14, when the Waihi and Waihou- clubs will meet at Waihou.
Efforts are being made to induce the Thames players to join, up with, the association.
