PAEROA STOCK SALE.
GOOD YARDING OF CATTLE. RULING PRICES MAINTAINED. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company’s March stock sale was held at'the Paeroa yards on Monday last. There was a good yarding of stock, which changed hands at ruling prices. Buyers were operating from the Waikato, Auckland, and district, and bidding was fairly brisk throughout. The following is an> indication of the prices obtained :— Fresh-conditioned cows, from £3 10s to £4 10s ; dairy heifers, £4 to £5 55.; yearling Jersey heifers,' £2 ,10s to £3 Ils ; fat steers, £11; fat cows, from £5 to £8 10s ; boners, 30s to £3. Bulls brought full market prices. A. line of 200 lambs changed hands at 12s 6d. There .was only a small yarding of pigs, and sores were bought at from 'ss to £l.
