The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., *Ltd., report. ■At the weekly stock sate in Hie Frankton yards last Tuesday we a moderate yarding of fa; cattle, the quality being principally painChoice prime beef sold firm at advanced rates. A full yarding of fat apd store sheep was submitted, and fats were in strong demand. Rates for store lambs made a sharp rise on other previous markets; there was also good competition for breeding ewes. The market was again strong for fat pigs, stores selling at late unimproved rates. Beef—Good quality light to medium prime steers £9 2s 6d to £lO IO--Extra choice prime heavy young cows on account of Mr F. Norrish, Ohatipo, realise-] £ll 17s 6G, prime heavy £9 6s, medium weight cows and heife.o £7 10s to £8 15s, lighter £6 5s to £7. plain cows £5 5s to £5 Us, unfinished £3 14 s, ta £4 4s.
