HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., *Ltd., report. ■At the weekly stock sate in Hie Frankton yards last Tuesday we a moderate yarding of fa; cattle, the quality being principally painChoice prime beef sold firm at advanced rates. A full yarding of fat apd store sheep was submitted, and fats were in strong demand. Rates for store lambs made a sharp rise on other previous markets; there was also good competition for breeding ewes. The market was again strong for fat pigs, stores selling at late unimproved rates. Beef—Good quality light to medium prime steers £9 2s 6d to £lO IO--Extra choice prime heavy young cows on account of Mr F. Norrish, Ohatipo, realise-] £ll 17s 6G, prime heavy £9 6s, medium weight cows and heife.o £7 10s to £8 15s, lighter £6 5s to £7. plain cows £5 5s to £5 Us, unfinished £3 14 s, ta £4 4s.

Sheep—Prime fid, wethers s-Hd to 295, prime ewes. 24s 8s to 26s 3d, lighter 22a 4d to 24s 4<L others 19S 6d to 19s lOd. Prime heavy woolly lambs 27s 9d to 28s 61, 2-tootk store wethers 22s 7d, smaill S-tooth ewes 22s 3d. mixed age breeding ewes 18s 'to 19s 2d, low conditioned s.w, ewes. 14s !)d to 15s 9d, good framed' faffing mouths, 15s to .15s Id, others 10s to Ils. Well grown early shorn Rcmney wether lambs sold to 17s 21, medium 13s 5d to 14s 7d, fair mixed sex shorn lambs 13s 2d to 13s 4d, small 8s 9d to 9s sd.
