POSITION OF TEAMS.
The Brenan Shield competition, full-rink play, is gradually drawing t..' a close for this season. On Saturday afternoon there was a fair attendance of members, aud those who were not taking part in the" competition enjoyed a quiet rol'l-up. The club considers that it has. had a very successful season this year, and all the’ competitions arc well advanced.
On Saturday in the Brenan Shield games W. Forrest defeated P. Williams and W. Purdie defeated W. J. Towers. Following are the details
