NIGHT-PLAY COMPETITION.

x LAST NIGHT’S RESULTS'.

Despite the fact that the weather conditions were not very favourable, there was light rain during a part of the evening, the mixed rinks nightplay competition on the local green was .well supported 'last night, and 28 ladies took part and displayed keen interest throughout. Those present were divided into six full rinks and one pairs rink, the latter being put on the same footing as a full. rink. The competition was confined; to fifteen lieadq,. and at the condl/sion it was found that the pairs ring, skipped by Tucker, had won, by five points.

Supper, was served in the pavilion by the ladies, during which prizes were presented to the winners by the president (Mr C. T. Mettam), who stated that a similar competition would be held on Thursday next, commencing at. 7.15 P4XL Following are the details
