HOCKEY.
NGATEA LADIES’ CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of tile Ngatea Ladies’ Hockey Club last evening a satisfactory position was revealed, and the prospects for the coming seasteh were reported to be bright. (Officers appointed were : President, Mrs G. Hastings; secretary, Miss N. Elliott ; delegates to Hauraki Plains Hockev Association, Messrs J. McPherson and H. Kirkman ; committee, Misses M. Harris and U. Birkenhead, Mrs Jackson, and the officers.
The subscription fee was fixed at 2s 6d, and the first practice will be held on Saturday, the 24th. ■
