PRESENTATIONS.
METHObiST CHURCH WORKERS.
At the Methodist Church last night, at the close of the service, a presentation was made to Mr and Mrs C. Morgan, who for many years have been members and office-bearers of the Church. Kindly reference was made to Mr Morgan by the Rev. Pickering, who laid stress upon the work and worth of the fathers of the Methodist Church in Paeroa. Their love and devotion w as worthy of high praise, and would receive Divine commendation.
Mr Morgan was the recipient of a suit-case andi Mrs Morgan, an old member of the Ladies’- Guild, a handbag. It was also the occasion of farewelling Mr and Mrs E. Morgan on their transfer to Te Aroha Church. Mr Morgan was addressed as an old Paeroa boy who had been z trained in the Sunday School and fo : r some time had been the capable conductor of the choir. Mr and Mrs Morgan were presented with a silver tea-pot. The minister thanked then! for their faithful serviced, and said he was pleased to know that such would be continued in another part of the Kingdom of God. Mr Morgan suitably replied.
