“Colleen,” Madge Bellamy’s latest starring vehicle, is a whimsical. Irish picture, and is to be shown to-night. Frank O’Connor, the director, has introduced many original ankl novel but purely Irish bits of business and traits of character into “Colleen,” making the production exceedingly entertaining. The story itself, while simple in plot, is filled with clever and. amusing

THE GLORY OF CLEMENTINA.
W- J. Locke’s great niovel, “The Glory of Clementina,” read and reread by millions throughout the world, forms the basis of. Pauline Frederick’s latest production, in which the famous star is to. appear to-morrow night. The story has to do with the rejuvenation of an artistic genius, who, in the pursuit of fame, has stifled every natural instinct within her. THE GILDED HIGHWAY. “The Gilded Highway” is also to been screened to-morrow night. This story of a happy family to whom unexpected wealth brought tragedy and suffering features Dorothy Devore and John Harron as sis,ter and brother who are rich in friendships, loyalty, and love for one another. TURUA HALL PICTURES. CRADLE SNATCHERS. “Cradle Snatchers,” the. Medcraft — Mitchell stage comedy, has been given a screen version by Fox Films wh’ch will be screened at the Turua Hall tomorrow. This delightful comedy tells the story of, three wives who, to teach their .husbands a lesson, hire three college boys to play the part of lovers. While the wivesjand hired lovers are at the country home of one of them the husbands show up. The fun, fast and furious, then reaches its climax. THE FLAG LIEUTENANT.
To those wiho have at various times referred to the mediocrity of. British films “The Flag Lieutenant,” which is to be shown at Turua on Tuesday next, will be something of a surprise. For this picture is a British production, and proves beyond all doubt what .a high standard British productions have reached of recent years.
WIRTHS’ NEW CIRCUS.

When Wirths’ Circus opens in Paeroa fpr one night only on- Wednesday next, February 22, near railway station, patrons will have a unique opportunity of seeing ;a number of the' ■outstanding attractions of the circus, world of the present day. No fewer than five star turns from the big ciycuses of America and Europe— Ringling Bros., of Olympia, London—were secured by Mr George Wirth on his recent ' world tour, arid these will positively appear with, the mammoth show here. If there can be any particularisation among attractions of such exceptional merit, -pride of place must be given to Pallenberg’g, amazing bears, beautiful furry grizzlies that ride high bicycles and scooters, that walk on stilts, that skim round on skates and that accomplish other entertaining feats, evincing the while as keen; a delight in their own performance as does the astounded audience. In the Reda-m Troupe the man has abnormal strength, and is seen with three beautiful girl partners in some remarkable feats of strength. Chester Dieck, the marvellous Indian, is seen in a great act performed on a number of bicycles and motor cycles of all sorts and sizes. Hilary Long with liltt'le Jessica d°e-s some remarkable head ’balancing feats on a. revolving trapeze, and his slide down an inclined wire on ihis' head is most thrilling. Wirths’ performing lion?, trained bv Captain Smith, also -do some marvellous tricks.
The zoo, with all its rarities, will be open; from 4 to 5 in the afternoon, when the animals will be fed.
