Mr R. G. Looker, telegraphist, has beeni transferred from Tauranga to the Paeroa post office.
Dr. J. McMurray (Joie, medical superintendent of the Waihi Hospital., accompanied by Mrs. Cole, is leaving by the Maunganui on Friday for Sydney, and will there connect with the P. and O liner Cathay. Dr. and Mrs Cole will be absent from the Dominion for twelve month's, and intend making an extended tour of Enlgland and the Continent.
Mr A. M- Samuel, M.P., arrived in Paeroa yesterday afternoon on a periodical tour of his electorate, and with Mrs Samuel is staying at the Criterion Hotel. After conferring with the Public Works engineer (Mr O. G. Thornton), Mr Samuel left this morning for Waihi, where he is going i'li/to the. matter of unemployment, particularly with reference to miners who have recently been thrown out of employment.
