OBITUARY.

Jim A. E. WADE. Quite a gloom was cast over the Ngatea district when it became known that the wife of Mr A. E. Wade, sharemilker, of Hopai, had passed away suddenly in the Thames Hospital on Monday evening. Mrs Wade had been in the hospital a week, and a long stay was anticipated, but she passed away suddenly While converse ing with other patients. A resident' of Ngatea. for the past 12 years or m°re, Mrs Wade was highly respected, her genial nature endearing her to a large circle of friends. She leaves a family of eight, including a daughter four weeks old. The funeral takes place to-day at Te Aroha, where her people reside.
