BRITISH & COLONIAL INDUSTRIES
SUCCESS OF PAEROA CHILDREN-
In connection with the writing competitions held under the auspices; of the British and Colonial Industries, pupils of the Paeroa District High School 'have done very well. Information has been received by the headmaster (Mr G. H. Taylor) that A. Court and Sons’ (Thames) prize of 15s, open to boys and girls of standards V., VI., and VII., had been won by Alison Barclay. J. Renshaw’s competition for children in, standards I. and 11. was won by Yvonne Morrell, and in the general writing competition for standard IL Rutli Liggins annexed the second prize, Jack John(nie the third prize, and Billy Parata the sixth prize.
