SUBSCRIPTION LIST OPENED.
,A COMPANY HAURAKI REGIMENT.
With’ the assistance and co-opera-tion of the Editor, Hauraki Plains Gazette, Major E. A. Porritt, M.C. ; and Lieut. W. IS. Lawrence, of. A Company, The Hauraki Regiment, desire to open a subscription list for the benefit of the wives of- Lieut. A. R. Mo-hcrieff and Captain Hood, who have lost tihdir lives in a plucky attempt to fly the Tasman Sea Sydney to New Zealand. The desire is to appeal to the members of A Company, and all friends and supporters of the regiment, for contributions. The intenr tion is to forward the total contributions received to the New Zealand Herald subscription list, as an A Cbmpany, Hauraki Regiment; cOntribu.'tion. 1 As A Company comprises territorials and cadets at Paeroa., Waihi, and Thames, tlhe assistance of the Tliameis Star and Waihi Telegraph has also been; sought, and subscriptions may be forwarded to-either of those newspapers, which will, in turn forward the money to the Hauraki Plains Gazette, and all contributions will be acknowledged in columns.
