VISIT OF KEREFEEIH IA)DGE. PAEROA ENTERTAINS BRETHRENThe members of the Loyal KerSr peehi Lodge paid their first visit to the Loyal Jubilee Lodge, M.U-. 1.0.0. F., Paeroa, on Tuesday evening. In the unavoidable! absence of N.G. Sister E. E.- Freeman Bro. T. M- Wilkinson, P.G., presided. On behalf of the local • lodge he extended a hearty welcome fto the visitors .and congratulated on the splendid, progress the lodge was making at Kerepeehi. He emphasised the benefit that was derived by visiting lodges, and expressed th«t hope that the visit that night would be the forerunner of many others. At the cail of Bro. Wilkinson the local members were upstanding and conferred the honours of. the Order. ' Bro. Glacgow, N.G., suitably rez spondod and thanked the Paeroa lodge for the hearty welcome and also ' far the keen interest the members had taken in the n'ew lodge, which was filling a lopg-fe.lt want at Kere- ( peehi. At the conclusion of lodge business an hour was spent with musical and "Wfocutionary items, and supper was Served by the sisters of the local lodge. PRESENTATION OF DIPLOMA. During the evening the opportunity Was taken to present a framed Past Grand’s diploma to Bro.. K. L. Slyfield. In making the presentation BrP- CFallon, P.G., congratulated the, re ' cipient on the .success which had attended his term of office. He also paid a tribute to the sterling work Bro. Slyfield had performed in the cause of Oddfe,Howship, and expressed the hope that he would long be spared his efforts, which, were greatly appreciated. Bro. Slyfield thanked the members the presentation, which he assured he much appreciated and would value highly.
