Mr L. E. CaSsrels, who has been an inmate of tlie Thames Hospital for some, time past, has sufficiently recovered to return to his home on Thames Road.
1 It is understood that the; Rev. Father Taylor, of Howick, and previously of Matamata, has been appointed priest' in charge; at Paeroa. It is expected that he will take up. his new duties, in about a week's time.
Mr F. C. Perry, Auckland district grandmaster, M.U., 1.0.0. F., arrived in Paeroa this morning. This evening, accompanied by the officers of the Loyal Jubilee Lodge, he will pay an official visit to the Oddfejllows Lodge at Neithertqn.
Mr H. D. - Caplen, barrister,, of HaAv'era, who is making a motor tour of the North Island, arrived on a visit to Mr P. ,R. Hubbard, Pae-roa, yesterday. It is Mr Sapien’s intention to visit Arapuni beflore returning to Hawejra.
