ACCIDENT TO DROVER.
UNCONSCIOUS ON ROADWAY.
SEVERE WOUNDS TO HEAD.
Late pn Wednesday evening Mr Alex, Flynn, farmer and stock dealer, of Kopuarahi, was found lying unconf scious on thp Turua-Orongo road by a passing motorist, Mr W. Fisher. He had very severe wounds on the head, and had evidently fallen or been thrown from his horse. Mr Fisher took the unconscious man to the residence of Mr A. Cleye.ey Kopuarahi, where he resided, ana called Dr. E. R. Lange, of Turua.
On Thursday morning Dr. Liggins, of Thames, was also called in, and the patient was removed to the Thame s Hospital. H's condition was still very critical yesterday afternoon, for up till then he had only recovered conscousness for a moment at a time. '
The mishap probably occurred early in the evening, for Mr Flynn had brought a mob of cattle from the Hikutaia saleyards and had left them at the ferry for the night.
