HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At Frankton on Tuesday last we had a good yarding of beef, a Smail yarding of fat sheep, and a medium yarding of fat and store pigs. Beef was firm, with prices higher than the previous week. Competition was keen for fat sheep, and pigs were on a par with last week. We quote: — Heavy fat steers £ll 13s, light fat steers £9 18s to £lO 10s f heavy fat cows £6 16s to £9 18s, prime fat heifqrs £7 10s to £7 15s, light fat cows £5 14s to £6, vealers, good, £2 8s to £2 10s, others 25s to 375, store cows £3 10s, fat ewes and wethers 255, prime heavy fat lambs 27s to 28s, light fat lambs 23s 9d, forward 4-tpoth wethers 23s 9d, 2-tooth wethers 22s 3d, 4-vear ewes 23s 6d. Light baconers £2.3s to £2 6s, heavy porkers, £2 2s to £2 ss, light porkers 35s to £2, slips 24s to 28s, best weaners 15s to 18s, others 10s to 18s.
