THAMES VALLEY ASSOCIATIONFIXTURES FOR THE' SEASON. The following fixtures have been arranged by the management committee of the Thames Valley Lawn Tennis Association for the remainder of the season:— A GRADE. December 17 : Te Aroha v. Thames, at Thames. February 4 : Hikutaia v. Thames, at Thames ; Paeroa v. Te Aroha, at "he Artftrtu February 18 : Hikutaia v. Te Aroha, at‘Te Aroha; Thames v. Paeroa, at Thames. March 3: Hikuta’a v. Paeroa, at Paeroa; Te Aroha v. Thames, at Te Aroha. March 10 : Te Aroha v. Hikutaia, at Hikutaia. Paeroa v. Hikutaia at Hikutaia, to be arranged. B GRADE. No. 1 Zone, comprising teams from Thames, Nethertpn, and Hikutaia: January 21: Netherton v. Hikuta’a, at Netherton. February 4 : Thames v. Hikutaia, at Hikutaia. No. 2 Zone, comprising teams from Paeroa, Waihi, and Te Aroha : — December 17: Waihi v. Te Aroha, at Te Aroha. January 21: Paeroa v. Te Aroha, at Te Aroha. Winners of each zone to play off in the final. CONDITIONS. In both A and B grades all teams shall consist of six men and four ladies. First four men shall play singles and doubles. First two ladies shall play singles and doubles. Last two men and ladies shall play doubles and combined doubles. Sets shall be as follows : Men’s singles and doubles, 9 ‘ games up; ladies’ singles and doubles and combined doubles, 7 games up.
