TENNIS.
PAEROA TO PLAY TE AROHA. LOCAL TEAM SELECTED. The second games in the Thames Valley Lawn Tennis Association’s competition will be played to-morrow. The Paeroa team will play a team from the Te Aroiha club at Paeroa, the following being the local players: Misses H. Shand, V. Shand, J. Ellis, K. O’Grady, and Ruston, McMillan, H. Thorp, F. Thorp, G. A. Bluck, and A. Steedman.
The Wajhi club has notified the association that it has decided to withdraw from the first round of the competition, and in consequence the local B team will not travel to Waiiii to-morrow, as was arranged.
