LAST SATURDAY’S GAMES, DETAILS OF THE PLAY., Fine weather prevailed for t'he Hauraki Plains Cricket Association’s inter-club competition matches on Saturday last. Ngatea was beaten at T.urua. by four 'runs, tee outstanding scorers for Turua being Owens (19), Macklow (12), and Lindsay (11), and for Turua Phillips (22), Cornthwaite (16), and Boyne (11 not cut). At Kopuarahi the home team batted first and knocked up 48, and Waitakaruru replied with 33. Kopuarahi made 50 runs in the second innings for ihq loss of four wickets, when, the ball w ; as broken, and as there was not another regulation ball available the Waitakaruru team declined to continue the game.
