Public Notices. "hAURAKI PLAINS COUNTY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER, nvr OTICE is hereby given that -Li at a special meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council held on the 10th day of November, 1927, the following Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a special meeting of the Council to be held on the 15th day of December, 1927, at 11.25 a.m, in the County Chambers, Ngatea. RESOLUTON. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 17 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Special Rating Area in the Hauraki Plains County hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than threefourths of the ratepayers in the said area, the capital value of whose properties as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital value of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, and with the sanction of the Local Government Loans Board the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows :—

For the Purposes of metalling the Kaihere-Torehape Road from Mahuta Road to or about the southern boundary of Ngatea Riding, and the Torehape Road for a distance of approximately sixty. (60) chains from the Main Road eastward, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £llOO at six per centum per annum for a period of Fifteen (15) years, and declares that the cost of raising the said Loan shall be payable out of moneys so raised. SPECIAL RATING AREA.

The Boundaries of the said Special Rating Area are as follows :—

Commencing at the north-east-ern corner of Lot 1 of Waitakaruru 5B 2 Block VIII., Piako Survey District, thence in a southerly direction generally along the eastern boundaries of 5B 2 and Section 9, Block VIII., Piako. Sections 34, 35, 36, 43, 38, 25, 26, 27, the southern boundary of Section 27, and the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 28, Block XIL, PiakoJ to the WaitakaruruMorrinsville Road, thence southwards along the said Waitaka-ruru-Mcrrinsville Road to the north-western corner of Ngarua IB 38, thence in an easterly direction generally to the eastern boundary of Ngarua IB 38, thence along the eastern and southern boundaries of Ngarua IB 38, Ngarua IB 3A, and Section 1, Block XVI., Piako, to the southern corner of the said Section 1, Block XVI., Piako, thence in a northerly direction generally along the western and northern boundaries of the said Section 1, Block XVI., Piako, the western boundaries of Sections 8 and 9, Block XIL, Piako, the southern boundaries of Section 3 and 4, Block XIL, Piako, the western boundaries of Section 3, Block XII., and Section 4, Block VIII., Piako, thence along the northern boundaries of Section 4,1, and 2, Block VIII., and Ngarua 5A No. 1 to the western boundary of Waitakaruru 5B 2, thence following the western and northern boundaries of the said Waitakaruru 5B 2 to the north-western corner of Lot 6 of Waitakaruru 5B 2, thence following the western, southern, and eastern boundaries of the said Lot 6 and the northern boundaries of Lots 5,4, 3,2, and 1 of Waitakaruru 5B 2, Block VIII., Piako, to the point of commencement.
