Ward and Co. will sell by Public Auction at the Miners’ Union Hall at Waihi - on the above date all the sole and exclusive license and authority of the Mortgagor under Residence Site License No. 13543 under the Mining Act, 1908, bearing date the ninth day of March, 1926, registered in volume 19, folio 227, of the books of the Mining Registrar at Waihi to enter upon and occupy for the residue yet to come of the term thereby created for a residence site all that piece of land containing three roods (3r), more or less, situated in Adams Street, Waihi, and being Section 169, Waihi, and being all the land comprised and described in the said Residence Site License No. 13543. The term of the license is forty-two (42) years from the ninth day of March, 1926, and the annual rental is five shillings (5/-). The covenants and provisions contained in the said license are those contained in the usual printed form issued by the Warden under The Mining Act, 1908, and the regulations thereunder. The land is in the township of Waihi and has situated thereon a wooden dwelling-house of five (5) rooms in fair repair, with gas lighting and a range for cooking. No portion of the land may be used for any other purpose than that for which the license is granted. The Mortgagee’s application, containing her estimate of the value of the interest in the land, can be seen at the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Auckland, during office hours prior to the sale, and a copy thereof may be seen at the place of auction on the day of the sale without payment of any fee. NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council held on the 10th day of November, 1927, the following Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a special meeting of the Council to be held on the 15th day of December, 1927, at 11 a.m. in the County Council Chambers, Ngatea. RESOLUTON. In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section. 17 of “The Local Bedies Loans Act, 1926,” and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Special Rating Area in the Hauraki Plains County hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than threefourths of the ratepayers in the said area, the capital value of whose properties as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital value of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, and with the sanction of the Local Government Loans Board the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows :— For the purposes of metalling the Patetonga Main Road from the southern boundary of Patetonga Riding for a distance of approximately 47 chains north wards, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £175 at six per cent, per annum for a period of twenty (20) years, and declares that the cost of raising the said Loan shall be payable out of moneys so raised. The properties comprising the said Special Rating Area are as follows Section 1 of Block 1., Waitoa S.D.; and Lots 1,2, 3,4, 5, and 6 of Section 6, Block I, Waitoa S.D.
