MONDAY’S SITTING AT PAEROA.

MISCELLANEOUS APPLICATIONS.

The following mining business was transacted at Monday’s sitting of the Paeroa Warden’s Court, before Mr F. W. Platts, Warden Section 1, Block VI., area 34 perches, at Karangahake, was granted as a residence site to Thomas Hanley. Sections 37 and 38, Block VI., Maratoto, were also granted as residence sites to Roy Willis. Prospecting licenses were granted to W. F. McWilliams over 200 acres at Karangahake, and W. F. McCallum 100 acres at Karangahake. The Warden decided to recommend the application of S. A. Shaw (Mr E. A. Porritt) to the Minister of Mines for three months’ protection on Hauraki Special River Claim No. 8483.
