BULLS TO BE OFFERED LOCALLY.
BREEDING AND FAT PRODUCTION.
Farmers of the district should be interested in the first pedigree bull sale to be conducted at the; Paeroa saleyards b v the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agqncy Co., Ltd., on Thursday next. The sale, which is being held under the auspices of the Thames Valley Jersey Breeders’ Club, should give farmers a golden opportunity to sqcure a purebred herd sire at a reasonable figure. In addition to a big yarding of pedigree Jersey bulls, pedigree, Friesian, Shorthorn, aird Ayrshire bulls are also to b& offered. There will also be a limited number of females, all pedigree breeds, yarded. Incuded in the Jerseys to be submitted to auction the following wellknown strains appear: Campbell’s K.C. (imp.), K.C.8., Lakeside Eminent, Majesty’s Fox. Waipiko General, and many others with classical breeding and high butter-fat production.
