There is also a splendid supporting programme. SATURDAY NIGHT. SENSATION SEEKERS. Conflict between the old and the new is the basic the.me of “Sensation Seekers,” starring Billie Dove with Huntley Gordon, which is to be presented to-morrow night. In this picture drama of personal life in fashionable society is presented the spectacle of the hide-bound puritanism of yesterday trying to defeat the liberty of to-day. ORCHIDS AND ERMINE. An interesting and humorous story of the life of a hotel switchboard operator in a big New York City hostelry affords- the; vehicle for Colleen Mo ire’s “Orchids and Ermine,” a picture which is also to bo screened tomorrow night.

TURUA PICTURES. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8. “The Verdict,” showing at Turua to-morrow, is said to be one of the best mystery plays ever screened, and contains an entirely new ide-a in camera storytelling. TUESDAY. OCTOBER 11. On Tuesday next'will be shown “Old Ironsides,” one of the greatest sea pictures ever screened. A beautiful romance, woven into a mighty spectacle of wooden frigate®, pirates, and sea battles in the days of Nelson—so soul-stirring as almost to beggar description. COMING REVOLUTION. LECTURE NEXT SUNDAY. The public of Paeroa and district arc, to be given an opportunity of hearing a stirring lecture on the above subject delivered by Mr E. P. Clark, of Melbourne, on Sunday night at the Aurora Theatre-, commencing at 7 o’clock. The lecturer has demonstrated to large audiences in the Commonwealth and Dominion that he. has a thorough understanding of his subject, and all who attend are; assured of spending the time profitably. Attention of our readers is directed to the advertisement, appearing in this issue. Seats are free, and there will be no collection.
