OBITUARY.
MRS. ELLEN CLARKIN* The death took place at her residence at Eureka (Waikato) on Wednesday -morning of Mrs Ellen Clarkin, wife of Mr John Clarkin, a wellknown farmer and contractor.
The deceased lady, who was the fourth daughter of the late Mr Thomas and Mrs Sarah Cassidy, of Hamilton, was in her 60th year. She was married in 'Hamilton 35 years ago, and after living there for some time removed to Paeroa, where she and her husband resided for several years. About 20 years ago Mr and Mrs Clarkin went to Eureka, wherethey and their family have been residents ever since. The deceased lady, who was well known and highly respected, was always prominent in Church work, and in all deserving causes her support was whole-heart-edly extended. Her passing is deeply regretted, and the heartfelt sympathy of the community is extended to the sorrowing husband and family. The latter comprise Miss Elizabeth Clarkin (Eureka), Mrs S. Rees (Hamilton), and Messrs John, Thomas, Frederick, and Trevor Clarkin (Eureka).
