AURORA THEATRE PICTURES.
TO-NIGHT. BLIND ALLEYS. “Blind Alleys,” Thoma* Meighan’s latest picture, which is to be shown to-night, is an exciting melodrama of two people who become separated on the first night of their honeymoon. All sorts of thrills, including a second woman, enter into it before the final fade-out. Evelyn Brent and Greta Nissen are featured.
THURSDAY NIGHT.
THE ISLAND OF DESPAIR.
The British production, “The Island of Despair,” is to be presented tomorrow night. It tells the story of a ship’s captain who, believing himself to be smitten with a dread disease, maroons himself on a deserted island, to which comes, by coincidence, the girl with whom he is in love, her brother, and the man who is- trying to force her to marry him. After protecting the girl and aiding her escape, the captain discovers that his fears are groundless and hastens home in time to stop the girl’s marriage to the villain.
