AURORA THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. DAUGHTERS WHO PAY. The principal picture to be screened to-night is called “Daughters; Who Pay,” featuring Marguerite de la Motte, and John Bowers. The picture has plenty of fast-moving action, and colourful romance. SATURDAY NIGHT. THELMA. Marie Corelli’s famous novel, “Thelma,” has come to life on the screen with Jane Novak in the title role — a character that has endeared itself to millions of readers the worhl over. It will be sihown to-morrow night. THE WILD HORSE STAMPEDE. A plot overflowing with action and suspense mystery a wealth of beautiful pictorial “shots,” many interesting characterizations, with the thread of a love story running through it, make “The Wild Horse Stampede,” which is also to be screened to-mor-row night, one of the most interesting pictures of its kind, of the year. TURUA PICTURES. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 3. “So’s Your Old Man,” showing at Turua on Saturday night, is a stirring comedy, featuring W- C. Fields, which tells the story of a small town glazier who invents an unbreakable glass windshield. In his efforts to escape the continual nagging of his wife, and promote sucessful selling of his invention, he meets with more trouble and mirthful adventures than one can possibly imagine. TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6.

“Madame Sans Gene,” screening at Turua on Tuesday next, presents Gloria Swanson in one of her very best pictures. “Madame Sans Gene” is a dramatic story of the days of Napoleon and the delightful romance of a laundress who became a Duchess.
