PAEROA LADIES’ CLUB.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR SATURDAY.

On Saturday next, weather permitting, the Paeroa Ladies’ Golf Cluh will play a match with the Waihi Club on the local links. Members <ire reminded that it will be a general afternoon tea. ,

The winners of the Canadian foursome which was played on Saturday last were Mrs Lawrence and Miss Walmsley.

In the final of the Club Handicap Mrs F. C. Hubbard plays Miss Tierney, and in the final of the Club Championship Mrs Miller plays Mrs Lawrence.

MEN’S GOLF.

The first round of the. Club Handicap for men will be over the 18-hole course, stroke play. Cards are returnable by September 7, and no doubt some of the matches will be got off on Saturday next. The following is the draw :—

Bray pli)ys H. Thorp, Hunter plays Simpson, McCarroll plays Moresby, P. Williams plays Hubbard. Hedge play* 4 F. Thorp, Wilkinson plays Rowe, Steedman plays F. Williams Hollis plays Miller, Dr. Little plays McMillan, O’Neill plays Gibb.
