MATCH AGAINST DERBYSHIRE.
HIGH SCORING BY’ VISITORS,
On Saturday morning the New Zealand commenced a three days’ match against the Derbyshire el even at Derby. Cable advice received this morning stated that in the first innings the home side was dismissed for 129 runs.
At the close of the day’s play the New Zealanders had compiled the fine score of 321 for the loss of five wickets.
