THE GAME ABANDONED.

The first day’s play of the New Zealand Cricketers in their three clays’ match against the West of England at Exeter was abandoned on Thursday on account of the weather.

Playing on Friday, the New Zealanders scored 230 runs for the loss of six wickets, and then declared. The home team then batted and made 93 runs for nine wickets. The match was to have beep continued ou Friday, but it had to beabandoned on account of the weather. On Saturday morning the New Zealanders commenced a three- days’ match against Glamorgan at (Cardiff. The New Zealand score for the first days’ play wiis 268 runs for four wickets.
