FIRST INNINGS DECLARED,

Tiie New Zealand Cricketcrb, who were to have played a West of England eleven at Exeter commencing on Wednesday last, had to confine the play to two days instead of three days on account of rain.

Play c-ommencteil yesterday, apd in the first innings the New Zealanders declared after making 230 runs for sjx wickets.

At the close of play yesterday the home side had made 93 runs at. a cost of nine wickets.

Commencing to-morrow, the New Zealanders are scheduled to play a three days’ match against Glamorgan at Cardiff.
