POLAND CUP FIXTURE.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR TO-MORROW.

The principal attraction at the local domain to-morrow afternoon will be the meeting of the Paeroa senior representatives and the Hauraki Plains fifteen in the second round of the Frank Poland Memorial Cup competition. This; match, which fe, timed t commence at 3 o’clock on the No. 1 ground, should prove to be an interesting game. The Hauraki Plains representatives in the first round defeated Paeroa at Ngatea, by 25 points to 5. However, on that occasion the Paeroa forwards were- not at their best, but to-morrow the home team will be stronger, and combination a.nd play generally should be of an interesting nature. At the end of the first round the position of the teams in the competition was : Hauraki Plains 4 points, Piako (last season’s winners) 3 points, Waihi 3 points, and Pa.eroa 1 point. Mr W. Jonas, of Te Aroha. has been selectedto control the game here to-morrow. The Sharebrokers’ Cup inter-union competition will also be advanced a furtner stage to-morrow, and the Paeroa junior representatives will journey to Ngatea,, where they will meet the Hauraki Plains representatives.

Car owners who have kindly consented to convey the. team to Waihi please assemble at the post office to leave not later than 12.15.
